Attention Everyone

I wanted to wait a few days to make sure I was committed before I made my announcement. I, Emaciated Lady, have given up aspartame. So long diet soda and fiber-filled Splenda.

You must all be thinking I’m crazy. Aspartame has been a major component in my weight management. But I’ve recently decided that I ingest too many chemicals and if I quit smoking, I may as well cut back on other carcinogens.

You can still use Splenda!!

Splenda isn’t aspartame, it’s sucralose. It’s 3.3x as aspartame.

The point is, it’s not aspartame so you can still use it.

Unfortunately, sucralose pretends to be real sugar, but is just as bad as aspartame. I think it’s time I either stopped eating sweets or use the real thing when I do. Thanks for trying to make my day!

INTERESTING! this is an older post, but Im trying to cut out all artifcial sweeteners, I swear to friggin God they increase my cravings, have you ever noticed that! I’ve thought the same, maybe If have to sweeten something, I’ll use the real thing, preferably raw honey and just make sure it counts towards my daily total.. better than off setting another binge..
