Big-boned
My close proximity to Hollywood means I’m friends with people who regularly mingle with celebrities. A close friend of mine went to the Grammies on Sunday and told me something that made me more depressed than on the day I was compared to Kim Kardashian. She said that Beyonce Knowles is 5′1″ and skinny.
Does anybody understand why I’m so upset? Because Beyonce looks like a large-boned person with big thighs. I’ve always prided myself on being skinnier than her. If Beyonce actually is skinny, that makes me dangerously obese.

I saw Beyonce at burger king, she ordered two cheeseburgers with onion rings. She got a chocolate shake, a side of fries, and chicken strips and apple pies
to my midn beyonce and mariah carey are both tubbies. they are simply rich enoug to cover it(almost).. everything looks better/more bearable in a dress made by armani/dior etc…even blubber ;P

I don’t think she looks skinny at all. She looks normal to meaty to me. I guess she is a curvy type – but really, curvy is just a nicer word for FAT.
I get what you mean, completely. But you have to admit, it’d be even worse if they compared you to Beyonce and then proceeded to call her dangerously obese. Then you’d be even worse than dangerously obese, whatever that could possibly be.
On a side note, I can’t believe she’s 5′1″. . . I feel more empathy with her because tall people can get away with eating more calories, those bitches.

i’m terribly sorry, but i myself happen to be regularly described as 5 foot 1 and skinny (definitely 5 foot 1, not so sure about the skinny)….and i ain’t anywhere near as fucking fat-assed as that beyonce!
Beyonce is skinny like Crystal Renn is “normal.” None of those girls are skinny but it’s politically correct to say so. That way fat people don’t feel so bad about themselves.

At first look, you could almost say “Oh the big tits just make her look fat, and the huge rear” because some people do legitimately have a huge ass and boobs through no fault of their own, the rest of them being perfectly skinny. However, you can see that Beyonce’s arms are carrying either some muscle or pudge.
On the other hand, that dress isn’t doing anything for her either.

Beyonce isn’t skinny. She’s that awful, ‘correct’ word for a little bit pudgy – curvy. Not a fan of the look myself, but apparently men like it..?

well what is your friend’s perception of “skinny”? bc you need to take this comment from where it is coming from…I bet she is normal, like 110 (bc of muscle) and the camera just makes her look (*puffs out cheeks*)
Beyonce looks rather normal to me. Her body is more proportionate and healthier than what many of you on this blog aspire to look like.

My husband argued with me for 10 minutes the other day when I said beyonce was a chunker. I’m sorry, curves or no curves, she’s carrying some extra meat. I, personally, think she looks like a tub of goo when she’s dancing onstange and I’m not a huge fan of curves. He was insisting that she’s just normal and I’m just jealous because she has boobs and I don’t. I couldn’t care less about having boobs, whatever gets me into an extra small t-shirt.
