I Need Help

As if that weren’t obvious. But I’m talking about something more serious than my mental and physical health - that’s right, I’m talking about my appearance. My face is now home to several rogue pimples, and I’m almost positive this is a consequence of my Diet Dr. Pepper habit. I don’t feel as though I can give it up because it pretty much constitutes my midday meal and a real meal is not an option.

Why is life always presenting these impossible situations? I’m torn. Do I continue drinking the diet soda and stay skinny but pimply or do I give it up and get fat but have clear skin?

There seems to be some controversy on this issue. Please see this no doubt well-informed discussion: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080826145258AASzvpq

Just to let you know (and not to bring you down), but I cut diet soda out of my life and I’m more pimply than ever. I think I’m finally just turning into a man, and the hormone change is giving me acne and really long facial hair.

[...] not zero calorie like my previous love, Diet Dr. Pepper. But then, it doesn’t trigger a pimple farm on my face [...]
