The Path of Righteousness…

I’m on it. I had suspected as much, but my suspicions were confirmed while watching Gluttony, part of the History Channel’s series on the seven deadly sins. Now I’m not a believer in religion or sin or even god for that matter, and I don’t think gluttony is going to send all fat people to hell.

But as an anorexic, I have to agree that gluttony represents a sort of moral failure. And much like medieval holy anorexics such as St. Catherine of Siena, modern day anorexics (myself included) are virtuous and morally superior. If you are appalled by this comparison of anorexics to a much revered saint, you’re either fat or you’re the Pope. I don’t care either way.
