I thought nothing would horrify me more than watching the obese gorge themselves on fast food. Turns out, watching a movie about obese women being force-fed to death is worse. A friend of Random Anorexics was kind enough to tell us about the 2005 thriller Feed, which I plan to watch (for research sake) as soon as I find enough energy to login to my Netflix queue.

Even though I have yet to actually see the film, the trailer was enough to make me gag and giggle simultaneously as A. I’m unabashedly disgusted by really fat people and B. I’m a huge fan of horror films.

Apparently, the feeder sees himself as some sort of vigilante by forcing these women to reject society’s standards of thinness. I’ve got a brilliant idea. How about we stop worrying so much about the fucking standards of beauty imposed by society and start worrying about the health dangers of obesity like DEATH. Why doesn’t anyone give a shit about society’s standards of health?

I don’t think I ever fully understood Michael Stipe until I developed an Orange Crush addiction. The diet kind, of course. It’s not zero calorie like my previous love, Diet Dr. Pepper. But then, it doesn’t trigger a pimple farm on my face either.

Fat Ass!

It’s official. Fat is now mainstream. Sony has produced a new video game called “Fat Princess,” expected to be released in 2009. The game’s objective: Rescue the chunky princess from her cake-feeding captors. As you can expect, feminists (probably fat ones) are up in arms about this, claiming the video game portrays negative images of women.

Here’s what I want to ask the feminists: Would you rather the princess be skinny? It’s a fucking lose-lose situation. If the game revolved around an anorexic princess that needed to be saved from her lettuce-feeding captors, there would be similar outrage — probably more heated since anorexia trumps obesity when it comes to negative images of women. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a fucking video game so let the bitch eat cake.
